Mailspect Defense

Mailspect Archive

Mailspect Archive stores email in tamper-proof repositories for records retention, regulatory compliance and legal discovery purposes.  It is designed for ultra-fast full text search and retrieval of archived email.  The system enables users to read, forward, save, print or export email, but not delete or alter it.  Email can be journaled real-time from virtually any mail stream including Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes, and Postfix or imported in bulk in more than twenty legacy email formats to one common repository.  Through de-duping and single instance attachment storage, Mailspect Archive can reduce mail stores by up to 80%.

Virtual Appliance
For the non-geeks and testers, Mailspect is available as a virtual appliance on VMWare. This is the fastest way to get a Mailspect system up and running. All settings are pre-configured, all anti spam and antivirus plug-ins pre-installed, everything is ready, just download and go. The Mailspect Appliance is pre-configured to process most email streams, including Microsoft Exchange and Postfix.

Linux
Mailspect’s DNA is Open Source and Linux.  Our software works on Red Hat, SuSE, Debian, Ubuntu, Slackware, Mandrake/Mandriva and Gentoo.

Unix
Our ISP customers demanded Unix so we produced it.  We can handle FreeBSD and Solaris (i386 and SPARC) systems.
